Terms & Conditions
CANCELLATIONS.
All cancellations must be made in writing and delivered to Owner at least 60 calendar days prior to the Event Date. There are no refunds for any deposit. Renter(s) is responsible for payment in full if event is cancelled within 60 days or less of the event Set-up Date. Renter(s) recognize that the foregoing cancellation policy is not intended to be punitive, but, reflect Owner foregoing actual or potential business opportunities in reserving the venue for Renter(s) and diminished ability to rent the venue within 30 days or less prior to an event date.
PAYMENTS.
Balance on the contract must be satisfied at least 3o calendar days prior to the event. All payments due herein shall be made using cash, personal check or cashier’s check. Personal checks shall be made payable to “The Lemon Grove, LLC” at 520 Highway 91 Snow Hill, NC 28580. Any personal check returned for insufficient funds is subject to a $50.00 returned check fee. Total contract fees must be paid 60 days prior to the Event Date.
TERMS AND CONDITIONS.
By signing this agreement, Renters agree to the following terms and conditions:
a) All activities that by definition are loud will be conducted inside the venue to reduce noise levels that may interfere with the neighbors right to the quiet enjoyment of their properties.
b) Any activities conducted outside (i.e. photography, walks, etc) will be controlled by Renters to ensure that noise levels are kept to the minimum.
c) Renters will have the option to hire their own security guards or The Lemon Grove manager will secure services from Mayhem Solutions Group for them at Renters’ expense. Renters must provide proof of contracted security services to the manager(s) at The Lemon Grove at least one (1) week before the event. Should Renters(s) fail to provide said proof, then The Lemon Grove manager will secure services from Mayhem Solutions Group for them at Renters’ expense.
d) Renters will be responsible for ensuring that their guests will refrain from loitering outside the facilities and in surrounding area.
e) Renters will be responsible for ensuring that their guests will adhere to socially acceptable, courteous, and respectful behavior during their events inside the venue, outside the venue and in the surrounding area.
f) Renters’ will forfeit their security deposit should them or their guests are in violation of the above rules and their fees will be applied to make neighbors whole for any reasonable loses, or to remedy and cure any adverse conditions that may arise from Renters’ and their guests’ unbecoming actions.
g) It is not allowed to use adhesive tape to fasten decoration items onto the walls. Any repair to the walls due to the use of adhesive tape, grease/food/beverage or other stains will be charged at a minimum of $50 dollars.
h) The use/consumption of chewing gum, sticky candy, and other sticky/slimy snacks is not allowed. Renters are responsible for the removal of these items from the floor, walls, tables, chairs or any other surfaces. At renter’s choice, TLG management will perform such removal at a expense of $100.
i) The restroom facilities are for your, and your guests comfort. Make sure to inform your guests that it is not allowed to throw paper, paper towels, or any other objects in the toilets or urinals. Any repair to the plumbing will be charged at a minimum of $350 dollars or by the itemized bill from the repair company.
j) The facilities are to be surrendered the day after your event by 10 am and you are expected to surrender them at the same level of cleanliness and order in which you took control. Cleaning services after the event will be charged at $450 dollars. You have the option to include cleaning services in your rental contract at a rate of $450 dollars. Should choose this option, you are responsible for hiring waiters or assign someone to bus the tables and remove used dishes, cups, glasses, beverage containers etc. You are also responsible for making sure that all of the trash is deposited in the trash receptacles provided throughout the facilities.
k) Any subcontractors (musicians, entertainers, photographers, videographers, caterers, etc) hired by Renter (s) must be approved by TLG and they will pay a security deposit of $150 to TLG on the day of the event. Such security deposit will be returned once the event is complete and after TLG can verify that no damages were caused by the contractor and that they left their work area clean and orderly.
